Sompo Singapore appoints Mr. Pui Phusangmook as its Chief Executive Officer

Singapore, 10 June 2019 – Sompo Insurance Singapore (“Sompo Singapore”) today announced the appointment of Mr. Pui Phusangmook as its Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 June 2019.

Mr. Daniel Neo, Regional Chief Executive Officer of Sompo Holdings Asia, welcomed Mr. Phusangmook’s new appointment.

“Pui has significant experience in managing a successful business in Singapore. We are delighted that Sompo is able to attract a talent of his caliber. With the recent appointments in the region, including Singapore, Sompo continues to strengthen our core management team across the region.”

Biography of Mr. Pui Phusangmook

Mr. Phusangmook holds a Bachelor of Engineering from King Mongkut Institute of
Technology, Bangkok, Thailand and a Master of Business Administration from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, USA.

Mr. Phusangmook has been working in Singapore since 2001. He has more than 25 years of working experience in the financial services sector with the last 18 years spent in the insurance sector.

Mr. Phusangmook was previously the Executive Vice President, General Manager, General Insurance and Group Business of NTUC Income. Before joining NTUC Income, he was the Chief Operating Officer of AXA Insurance Singapore.
