We extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to all those affected by the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023.
The Sompo Group announces that it will donate a total of 30 million yen for earthquake relief and recovery to help support people in the affected areas.

Sompo Group has been operating in Turkey since 2010, providing personal and commercial line P&C insurance, and our insurance and asset management businesses*1 have close ties with the country. Sompo International, which oversees the Group’s insurance business outside Japan, is already providing support for local employees affected by the earthquake.
In addition, the Sompo Chikyu (Earth) Club*2, a volunteer organization with Sompo Group executives and employees as members, made donations of 500,000 yen to the Japanese Red Cross Society and 500,000 yen to the JAPAN PLATFORM on February 10 to fund disaster relief activities.
